Tips for specific oral care needs
-Stain Removal
For even better stain removal, devote a few extra seconds brushing time to avoid areas where excess stain.
-Braces
Place the brush at a 45 degree angle between the brackets and gumline. Using gentle pressure, move the hair in a small round motion so the bristles between your teeth for longer reach 2 seconds.
Then gently roll the brush handle so that the bristles clean the bracket and the rest of the tooth. Then pass through the hair to the next tooth. Repeat this process until you have brushed your teeth. Note that brush heads wear out sooner when used on braces.
-Dental restorations
Use Sonicare on dental restorations (such as implants, caps, crowns, bridges and fillings) if you are on your normal tooth surfaces. The work of the bristle round all areas of restoration for a thorough cleaning.
-Periodontal pockets
Your dentist or hygienist may have indicated that you periodontal pockets, deep pockets where plaque bacteria collect. If this otherwise, spend extra time brushing these areas after completing the two-minute brushing your gum health improvement.
